Bridge City Paddling Club & Fans! We are happy to announce that we raised over $20,000.00 for charity in 2011!!! We've got a great start to 2012 already. $7,500+ for Special Olympics Oregon.
2011 - Special Olympics ($7695.00), Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ($1,755.00), Mercy Corps’ Japan Earthquake Response Fund at the Pioneer Square Vigil ($3,916.00) and another fundraiser for the Mercy Corps Fund at Good Neighbor Pizzeria ($1,361.04), Relay for Life of Gresham ($540) and Dawn To Dusk Paddle for Children's Cancer Association ($7,718).
This doesn’t include the dedicated hours put in by our team members who work day to day in the non-profit sector...or with local and state government. Bridge City Paddling Club cares about the community!

Big Climb - March 2011. We climbed 69 flights -1,311 steps in the Columbia Tower to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Polar Plunge - February 2011. Our biggest and best yet...BRRRidge City Polar Paddlers not only raised $7,695 for Special Olympics Oregon, but won for the biggest team in Portland with 50 team members!

on Oct. 2, 2010 in the Row For The Cure.
Bridge City attended Class For A Cure at ADAPT Training on Sept. 18 to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
We participated in the Relay For Life of Gresham July 31 - Aug. 1 to benefit the American
Cancer Society. Some of our members completed full marathons in the process!
Bridge City took to the Willamette River on July 24 for our 12 hour Dawn to Dusk Paddle. We raised nearly $5,000 for Blue Planet Network.
Bridge City rocked out another Habitat Build Saturday, April 10. Nice work everyone!
We participated in the Big Climb (69 Flights) on March 21, raising funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Bridge City built on Sat, March 13 with Habitat for Humanity. Now THAT was fun!
 We started our community service projects this year with the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Oregon on January 30, 2010. Yes, that's COLD!!!
